🎓 Basics in Oil Course

If you’re new to oil painting or want to strengthen your foundation, this course is for you. Together, we'll work step by step to build your skills and confidence.

What You’ll Learn

In this course, you will learn:

• How to work with oil paints and understand their unique properties.

• The importance of tonal values, using a grey scale to practice precision.

• Creating a monochromatic background while focusing on proportions and tonal depth.

• Mastering the color wheel and how to mix vivid, clean colors.

• Techniques to avoid muddy colors and achieve natural, realistic tones.

By the end of the course, you will have completed two monochromatic paintings and two full-color pieces. This equips you with essential skills for your creative journey.

Mentoring Class

For those ready to work on their own projects, the mentoring class offers a flexible and inspiring space to dive into your creative ideas. Whether you’re painting a portrait, capturing a landscape, or experimenting with abstracts, I’ll provide the support you need.

Art Class Details

Schedule

Classes occur every Tuesday and Wednesday morning. The year is divided into four terms, with 10 weeks per term. Each class lasts 3 hours, with breaks during school holidays.

Class Size

Classes accommodate up to seven people, ensuring plenty of individual attention.

Location

Our studio is located at 405 Hinkler Dr, Worongary, GOLD COAST.
